"Perched high above the lush valleys of the Lot river lies Le Bouyssou, a gite so lovely that I almost don't want to tell you about it.

"The hilltop breeze charms the surface of the pool, the verbenas sway, a swallowtail butterfly wafts through. Everyone relaxes. We have visited with the same friends both years and one of the daily highlights is to eat on the terrace after the kids have gone to bed, looking at the starry, starry night and talking . . ."

We returned for the third year running and we've had a fabulous week. The house and outside areas are as pristine and fab as the first year we came. There really is no limit to what you will do to ensure guests have that 'wow' holiday and it is incredible to have that eye and attention to detail. Thank you all and especially to Millie from the boys for making this such an outstanding holiday. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Thank you so much for the wonderful holiday. This was the best holiday that we have had! Everything we have needed is here. Relaxation, peacefulness, good food, good wine, things which keep the children busy (maybe the most important!!). We were so touched by your hospitality – all products from your veg. garden were eaten so quickly! The girls were so excited having fresh eggs that they had collected!! They had a fantastic time with Millie and every day they could not wait to play with her. I think that the beautiful afternoon with the sushi making and party, the treasure hunt and arm painting will stay in their minds forever. Many thanks for this beautiful holiday again. We hope to come back here next year!!

Thank you so much for a truly lovely holiday in your gooorgeous home. You really have created a beautiful place here – the house is stunning, theswimming pool perfect, the setting stunning and you have been fantastic hosts. You have made this place so child friendly – with all the great toys (both indoor and outdoor), the lovely pool (so nice that it is chemical free) – which in turn lends itself to a relaxing holiday for the adults. A really big thank you also for all of the delicious salad, beans and eggs – such a treat to have fresh food.

Tonight whilst getting ready to go home our 3 and a half year old Sophia said "Mummy, why are you packing?" to which I replied "We are going home tomorrow" and Sophia said "Can we come here the next day?"! Sophia and George have had a great time. We hope to return soon. Many, many thanks.

This place is fantastic and we have all had a wonderful week here. We only wish we could stay longer. We could not have had lovelier surroundings to decompress from the rigours of life in the UK and the children have had a ball - from feeding the guinea pigs to splashing around in the pool, visiting the chickens and fighting pirates on board the pirate ship. Huge, huge thanks to you for creating such a sanctuary and for all your help to make this such a special week. Hope to be back soon!

We have had a wonderful week in this most beautiful house - with absolutely everything we needed. We loved attempting recipes from the French cook books . . . and going to some of the suggested local places of interest. The things the children enjoyed the most were 1. the swimming pool 2. playing with Millie in the gardens - they have never slept so well so thank you Millie for being such a great holiday playmate. Only one thing - one week is not enough - we wish we could stay longer . . . .

'What more can we say that has not already been said? We have been fortunate enough to stay in some wonderful places around the world but we have never stayed anywhere where so much care and thought has gone into the accommodation and holiday experience.
